I've spent the entire summer and so far fall, watching this spider grow and thrive. His day isn't very exciting, but this is what his day looks like.
Taken with my Canon 40D Zoom lense F5.6, 1/50, ISO 200
This is the JPEG file. I can't upload the Raw file for some reason. Since I'm new at blogging, I am sure it's something I am doing wrong. Since it tells me my file is corrupt. That's just me.
Christine,
ReplyDeleteDid you convert your raw image to Jpg before trying to upload it?
This one is JPEG. It was my understanding that we were to uploand both RAW & JPEG a total of two shots
ReplyDeleteI believe we are to upload one taken in jpg and one taken in raw then converted to jpg. But, maybe Barbara will chime in here to clarify.
ReplyDeleteUpload two images
ReplyDelete- the Raw image (converted to jpg) and
- the jpg
Please look at the images side by side on your monitor and observe any differences in the two files. Then report out your findings in the comment area of your upload.
Since there is a lot of controversy about RAW vs JPG, this exercise was designed for YOU to determine if it is worth shooting in RAW and consequently eating up memory card and hard drive space.
Please see Derek's sample.
Sorry for the confusion.
PS - You can't upload, or even save RAW files. They have to first be converted into jpg.
ReplyDeleteThanks Barbara, I got it converted and posted. I don't see an advantage to RAW.
