The first is just a fun one of my view from the trolly.f/5.6 1/125

I took this picture because I liked the still water with the reflections of the boats in it. I was looking mainly at the lines, balance, and colors and later realized there is no real focal point in the image, except maybe the wooden house? I also like the colors and the business of all the lines juxtaposed with the stillness of the water.f/8

The wood carvings in the door with the light shining on it first caught my attention. Then I noticed the cool door pulls and the dark shadows behind them. I like all the neat shapes...lines and circles, highlights and shadows. f/8

Another boat image, again with no real focal point. Does that matter? I usually take pictures with a focal point in mind, but since I was only looking at shapes, light, shadows, textures, etc., I later realized there is no focal point... except maybe the larger boat on the left? Hmm, so much to think about. It would have been nice to have a graduated filter for this picture to help with the sky.f/8
