Field Trip - Stephanie

f/5.0, center weighted metering, ISO 400, 116mm, daylight WB.

f/5.6, evaluative metering, -1 exposure comp, 100 ISO, auto WB.

f/7.1, evaluative metering, 200 ISO, shade WB

I tried the different picture styles in a few of my shots and I don't see a big difference. I plan to continue to work with those.
I like the shot over the hill to the Port because of the variety. I think it provides good contrast in texture, shape, light, size, etc. There are many different lines in the reflection, the bank building, the port, and the trees. I like how the image shows the distance to the horizon.
The candy casts a nice shadow to the right since the sun is fairly low in the sky. And the reflection on the plastic shows that it is 3 dimensional. There is also shadows on teh rocks in the concrete.
In the final shot, I didn't know what I got until I got home. Like everyone else, I was basically snapping shot after shot. I decided to turn towards the sun in hopes of getting a slightly different shot than others. I was pleased when I saw this one. I can see the concentration on his face in the mirrors, and I really like the reflection in the back of his helmet.
